1 ) Tous les français présents en 2005 à Tápiószentmárton gardent un très bon souvenir
des championnats d’Europe seniors. Deux ans après, qu’est-ce que ces CE évoquent
pour toi ?
Every French people who were in Tápiószentmárton for the European championship 2005, keep in memory a very pleasant moment. After 2 years what is your feeling about it ? |

J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à Tápiószentmárton en 2005. J’ai pu participer en tant que
coach à cette compétition mondiale et ainsi rendre l’équipe hongroise plus forte. Cela
était très important pour moi. C’était sympa d’avoir de bonnes relations avec l’équipe
de France. Ces championnats ont été pour moi aussi un moment agréable.
I enjoyed myself very much in Tápiószentmárton in 2005. I could participate on this world competition as trainer and by that making the Hungarian team stronger. This meant a lot to me. It was also cool to get in a good relationship with the French team. This championship was also a very pleasant memory for me! |

2 ) Cette magnifique structure de Tápiószentmárton, devait l’année suivante accueillir
les championnats hommes et dames. Pourquoi cela a t’il été annulé par la WMF?
This wonderful structure in Tápiószentmárton was supposed to support the male and female championship the year after. Why did WMF cancel it? |

C’est aussi une grande question pour moi et la réponse n’est pas très claire. Mon opinion
personnelle ne correspond peut-être pas à la réalité. Il y a eu des problèmes de
communications entre la WMF et la fédération hongroise de minigolf et il y a eu aussi
des problèmes avec les pistes (la WMF ne pouvait pas accepter le matériau utilisé pour
les pistes « éternit »)
Pourtant selon moi les raisons sont "plus simples" : l'argent n'aurait pas été réparti
comme la WMF le voulait ……
This is also a big question for me and it is not a very clear issue. My personal opinion might not even be in accordance to reality. There has been communication problems between the WMF and the Hungarian Minigolf Federation and there had also been some problem with the courses (the WMF could not accept the material of the course) However according to me the reasons are more “simple”: money would not have been moved as WMF wanted it…… |

3 ) Pour en terminer avec Tápiószentmárton, est-ce que des tournois nationaux ou
internationaux sont organisés au cours de l’année sur ce complexe filz-éternit?
Still about Tápiószentmárton’s filz-eternit, are national and international tournaments organized during this year? |

Chaque année la coupe Kincsem se déroule fin mai, c’est une compétition internationale
avec un classement spécial par équipes. Cette compétition a été organisée cette année
mais il n’y en aura pas d’autre durant la saison.
Every year there is the Kincsem Cup held at the end of May, which is an international competition with special teamcompetition. This competition was also organized this year but there will not be any other during this year. |

4 ) Question classique, la Hongrie est une petite nation de minigolf, combien compte t-elle
de clubs? de joueurs?
Considering Hungary as a small minigolf nation, how many teams and players does Hungary count? |

C’est aussi une question à laquelle il m’est difficile de répondre. Il y a de plus en plus de
clubs mais je ne peux pas dire qu’il y en a beaucoup. Cette année les joueurs étaient
venus de 8 ou 9 clubs. Nous sommes 80 joueurs licenciés mais le nombre de joueurs qui
participent régulièrement est moins élevé.
This is also a difficult question to be answered by me. There is more and more team but I wouldn’t say there is a lot. This year the players had come from 8-9 clubs. There has been ca. 80 players but the number of the regulary active players are even less. |

5 ) Existe t-il en Hongrie des personnes réellement motivés pour développer ce sport?
Are there some people interested and motivated to let this sport grow up in Hungary? |

Je ne connais pas personnellement une telle personne. Il est possible qu’elle existe mais
nous ne sommes que quelques uns à essayer de trouver ce type de personne. Cela devrait
évidemment être le travail de la fédération. Ils le font sous la forme sociale, mais sans
grand enthousiasme, aussi, leurs efforts sont sans succès.
Me, I don’t really know such person. It is possible that there is one but there is only a few of us who is trying to find these people. This would have been obviously the task of the federation. They also do it in form of social work but with not really a huge enthusiasm therefore their efforts remain mostly without success. |

6 ) Tu étais à GELDROP l’an passé, le grand espoir Csaba PÁLINKÁS aussi, Gabor
KOLITS super-finaliste en 2005, n’étais pas présent au LUXEMBOURG, quels sont vos
projets internationaux pour cette année?
As the nice player Csaba PÁLINKÁS you were in Geldrop last year, G. KOLITS wasn’t in LUXEMBOURG, what are your international plans for this year? |

Pour nous c’est surtout un problème d’argent. Vous pouvez être sélectionnés en équipe
nationale mais ne pas pouvoir aller jouer, tous les frais sont à la charge des joueurs
.Depuis 2 ans nous recevons un soutien de la fédération mais c’est à peine le montant de
l’inscription. Gábor n’est pas allé aux Pays-bas l’an passé, pour la même raison je ne
suis pas en Italie : nous n’avons pas d’argent pour cela.
By us mostly “money talks” and not only the knowledge what counts. It could happen that you are nominated to the national team but you could afford it. By us any cost is mostly born by the players. Although we are receiving minimal support from the Federation since 2 years but this is hardly enough for the nomination fee. Gábor has not been in the Netherlands last year For the same reason then me this year in Italy: we had no money for it. |

7 ) En 2005, tu étais étudiante et maintenant tu travailles. Le minigolf a t’il encore une
réelle place dans ta vie?
In 2005 you were student, and are now working. Is minigolf still important in your life? |

Oui, c’est important mais il m’est maintenant plus difficile de m’entraîner et
évidemment je dois faire face à d’avantage de problèmes financiers. Cependant j’ai un
super travail (je suis puéricultrice) et j’ai un compagnon fantastique, aussi je ne suis pas
à plaindre.
Yes, it is important but it is more difficult to practice, to train on each course and of course I have to face more financial difficulties. It is not easy to live in Hungary today. But I have a great job (I am a kindergartener) and I have a wonderful man therefore I could not complain. |

8 ) Tu es malheureusement isolée dans les championnats d’Europe, existe-t-il des
joueuses étrangères qui te donnent des conseils ou qui s’entraînent avec toi?
You are unluckily alone in the European championship. Are some female foreign players advising you or practicing with you? |

Je ne comprends pas vraiment la question. Je ne suis pas seule. Au cours des dernières
années nous avons participé aux championnats internationaux avec une équipe
féminine, donc nous n’étions pas seules .J’aime participer à de telles compétitions parceque
j’ai plusieurs ami(e)s étrangers très sympa.
I don’t really understand the question. I am not alone. In recent years we participated with a women team on the international championships, therefore we were never alone. By the way I really like to participate on such competition because I have some very nice foreign friends. |

9 ) Penses-tu qu’un joueur ayant entre 15 et 25 ans puisse pratiquer uniquement le
minigolf (technique+concentration) ou d’après toi, faut-il qu’il pratique en plus un sport
physique?
Do you think that a 15 to 25 years old player can only play minigolf (technique and concentration), or do you think that he should also practice a more physical sport? |

Je crois qu’il est bien de pratiquer aussi un sport physique parce-qu’il aide à être
meilleur au minigolf. Mais ce n’est pas nécessaire.
I think it is good if you also practice some other physical sport because it helps you to have a better performance in minigolf. But it’s not necessary. |

10 ) En France, il n’existe pas de minigolf de compétition dans la région de Paris. Qu’en
est-il à Budapest?
In France, we don’t have any professional minigolf in Paris area. What about Budapest area? |

Il y a toujours eu une équipe à Budapest sous différentes appellations et avec des joueurs
différents. L’équipe actuelle se compose d’excellents et nombreux joueurs. Ils ont de très
bons résultats sur les compétitions nationales
By us there has always been a team in Budapest. In the past with different players different names. The present team consist of excellent players and they are also quite numerous. They have very good results on the national competitions. |
